That’s where you come in

As our new Sales Coordinator, you will be managing the entire sales process for our clients. From the time they sign a deal, to the moment their shipments arrive, you’ll be coordinating the whole operation.

Some of your time will be spent working with customers, and communicating the progress and estimated delivery time for their order. But you’ll also be working directly with our suppliers, to make sure that everything is going smoothly.

Because we’re a reseller, you’ll also work to develop strong relationships with our manufacturers. You’ll need to take charge as necessary, and do what it takes to ensure that everything goes smoothly when it comes to receiving, distributing, packaging, and shipping orders.

You’ll be perfect for this role if you have:

  • Motivation – you’re at your best when working independently, and find ways to complete projects by getting others to accommodate your deadlines, rather than the other way around.
  • Attention to detail – you know the specifics of every order, and follow special notes and instructions to a T. You learn our products inside and out, and always seek to take advantage of learning/training opportunities.
  • Great communication – You’re confident and tactful, able to comfortably deal with strong, diverse personalities and negotiate confrontation when necessary. You’re not afraid to stand up for yourself, and push back on behalf of clients if called upon.
  • Industry knowledge – you are familiar with the world of industrial manufacturing and are comfortable working with various types of people in the industry. You know the language, and how to speak to shop workers and professionals alike.

On occasion, we also ship products or materials out of our own location, which you will be responsible for. Any experience in shipping or logistics would benefit you in this role.

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM. We offer an attractive starting salary range commensurate with experience, as well as a benefits plan, paid vacation, and bonus structure.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of just 11 people, so you’ll be able to draw on the help and experience of some great staff as soon as you start. Everyone works together, helps each other out, and pulls together to ensure success. Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in manufacturing
  • Previous experience in a B2B sales role, or sales coordination role
  • Excellent computer and MS Office skills (formatting, formulas, LOOKUPS, mail merge etc.)
  • Experience with CRM software (experience with Sugar a huge bonus)
  • Experience with QuickBooks would be an asset
  • Experience in shipping/receiving or logistics – processing shipments, sending invoices, working with third party logistic companies
  • Forklift certification is an asset
  • Valid passport and ability to travel to the US
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, administration, or similar

We’re looking to add a Controller to our team on a one-year contract: someone who has the skills and know-how to manage complicated financial records, and is looking for an opportunity to gain valuable experience.

 

That’s where you come in

As our Controller, you will oversee the financial organization and operations of all three of our business lines.

This is not a start from scratch position, as our financial manager has already designed and implemented a great finance system. Your job will be to manage the existing controls and processes, and ensure that all financial operations are kept running smoothly and flawlessly, and are ready to hand back over when your contract expires.

You’ll examine and analyze revenue, operating budgets, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and similar financial tasks. The challenging part is that you’ll be doing this for multiple business lines that are part of our corporation.

While you won’t be reinventing the wheel in this position, you will need expertise in everything relating to finance. The most challenging part of this position will be in implementation, as you learn, and find creative and effective ways of using the system we have to maintain budgets and maximize margins.

You’ll be perfect for this role if you have:

  • Motivation – you don’t need someone looking over your shoulder, and take initiative while going through a variety of tasks.
  • Attention to detail – you’re able to successfully manage our three companies separately, while maintaining high level control and familiarity over the entire business.
  • Industry knowledge – you’re familiar with the world of industrial manufacturing, and are comfortable working with various types of people in the industry. You know the language, and how to speak to shop workers and professionals alike.

This is a terrific opportunity for someone looking to step into their first controller position. You’ll spend the first couple of months working closely with our financial manager, learning every aspect of the role before flying solo. Your experience here will build your resume, and truly prepare you for your next big career role.

This is a full-time one year contract, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. We offer an attractive starting salary range of $50,000 – $60,000, commensurate with experience.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of just 11 people, so you’ll be able to draw on the help and experience of some great staff as soon as you start. Everyone works together, helps each other out, and pulls together to ensure success. At ETP Energy Technology Products, you won’t be micromanaged: you’ll have the freedom to succeed in your position as you think best.

Because we’re a small, growing company, this role will have a huge impact on the work we do. The experience you gain in this role will be invaluable to your career outside of ETP.

  • Extensive experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Experience managing payroll
  • Experience maintaining books and financial records for multiple business lines
  • Previous experience working in the industrial manufacturing or reselling industry
  • Excellent computer and MS Office skills (formatting, formulas, LOOKUPS, mail merge etc.)
  • Advanced Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or related
